One of Scotland’s leading newspaper journalists, Lindsay has covered everything from news and sport to the Kosovo war. He spent eight years at Scotland’s biggest selling newspaper, the Sunday Mail, five of them as Political Editor. In 2005, Lindsay was named Political Reporter of the Year at the Scottish Press Awards.
John Morrison

A native Gaelic speaker, John has been one of the most recognisable voices on the BBC for nearly twenty years. From 2001 to 2006, he was Scotland Correspondent for the network news. He has also been BBC Scotland’s Chief Political Correspondent and Europe Correspondent, based in Brussels. An experienced, award-winning journalist, John has reported from 40 countries around the world.

Peter Aitchison worked with the BBC for nearly 20 years and held several senior editorial positions. He was Editor of Good Morning Scotland when the programme won Sony and BT UK awards. More recently Peter has been Editor of Newsnight Scotland, Scotland Editor of BBC Radio Five Live and Deputy Editor of Reporting Scotland. Peter is also an award-winning author.

One of Scotland’s leading public relations professionals, Charlie has extensive experience of developing and directing high level communications campaigns and sponsorship exploitation programmes for a range of organisations including: Bass Brewers, United Distillers, DTZ, Eurocentral and Active Stirling. A trained journalist, Charlie is a member of BBC Scotland’s football commentary team.

Lally has almost a decade of communications experience and has worked both agency side and in house. For the past four years, she was PR Manager at First ScotRail where she successfully raised awareness and perception of the rail industry to target audiences across Scotland and the UK. Lally has worked with a broad spectrum of clients and with her wealth of consumer PR experience, brings a new strength to MMM.

Fiona joined MMM after nine years at the Daily Record. Having managed the logistics on the Features desk and liased with Scotland’s top freelance writers, photographers and agencies, Fiona knows what makes journalists tick. That experience combined with her economics and marketing degree background make her the right person to keep MMM ahead of the game.

Freelance cameraman Alan Dickinson does the filming and editing for the popular MMM media training courses. During 20 years as a cameraman at ITN Alan worked on a wide range of reports: the Gulf War with Sir Trevor MacDonald, Royal weddings, the tsunami, sport and politics. Many of his news reports, which he films and edits, have also been seen on CNN and other international broadcasters. Alan said, “The MMM media training courses are demanding but everyone has great fun and learns a lot about themselves and the media.”

BUSINESS PLACEMENT

Laura has joined MMM for a work placement from Glasgow Caledonian University where she is doing a Business Studies degree. Laura hopes to gain an insight into all aspects of the media and press as a member of a dynamic and expanding business. Laura was the only Scottish player in the GB Hockey team at the Beijing Olympics and has 25 Scotland caps.
